The very idea of the “death of death,” would be considered by many to be an oxymoron and would raise several questions in mind of the reader. Some will say things like, “was there a funeral for death?”, and if yes, who attended? And where was death buried? These are real and practical questions that demands deep thought and reflection.
Millions of people around the world dread the slimmest thought of death and they shiver in their boots just contemplating any idea of death. The fear of death is the fear of all fears and millions dread it, and so how is it possible that this giant enemy is vanquished?
As the saying goes, perspective is everything! If death is seen as the end of life then death is not dead and is well and alive.
Here is what Jesus said,
And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. John 11:26
The one who believes in Jesus may die physically, like Lazarus did shall never die eternally, meaning, being eternally separated from God for ever.
In conclusion, death is dead, end of story
